Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Leo found his love for food at just 15, cooking in an Italian restaurant downtown Manhattan. He went on to refine his craft at the Villa Roma Hotel and later spent nearly a decade at the legendary Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. Since 2015, Alabama has been home and we’ve been lucky to have him at Ravello.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Leo enjoys spending time with his kids and cooking for his family. He believes food is medicine, and brings that philosophy to every dish with flavors that are both nourishing and unforgettable.
